Overview

What is IR DevKit?

IR DevKit is an all-round infrared remote control module that can be controlled via a UART port. This development kit is made for people who do not understand the low level details of basic infrared communication or simply do not want to go through the pain of buying components and having to solder them.

We have simplified the process of decoding IR codes and transmitting them using this module so that you can focus on building your smart home project rather than trying to figure out how IR works.

You can either connect the FTDI adapter or an ESP8266/ESP32/Arduino development board to control this module. A simple set of commands are being used to control the device so either way you go, there is a way to communicate with the device.

Features

  1. Supports IR learning and transmitting (single key or a combination)
  2. Supports standard UART interface.
  3. Supports 15kHz - 80kHz IR carrier frequencies.
  4. 4 high-power IR LEDs for 360°.
  5. Supports 1m - 10m distance
  6. LED indicator.
